What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Email Addresses
Email Addresses collecting is related to Subscribing to our blog. If it happens that you send us a standard email, it doesn’t mean that you’re automatically getting added to any of our mailing lists. If you do want to be added to our Subscribers database, you are able to give consent and opt-in for that, using one of the Subscribe forms present on our website.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with anyone/any third party. We use Google Analytics to process website traffic data. You can avoid being tracked via Analytics by turning off cookies in your browser. Processed data is anonymised and is used only to get an idea of website’s performance – e.g. how many people are visiting the website, what pages they click on. It helps us improve, maintain website’s health, and bring the most valuable content to our visitors (readers). You can read Google’s Privacy Policy here.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
In the case of subscribing to our Email Newsletter, we retain the email address you’ve choosen until you unsubscribe (which can be done by clicking on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send). If you don’t have the access to the Unsubscribe link (e.g. you’ve deleted our old emails and we haven’t sent anything in a while), you can contact us from the email address you’ve subscribed with and request manual removal from our Subscribers list.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left any comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated SPAM detection service. Each comment is carefully checked to avoid any potential unpleasant situations. We reserve the right to reject publishing on our website, without the need to provide a written feedback.
Security
For all our visitors (readers), the data is protected and processed by Google Analytics, and Newsletter plugin.
